More Music!

I have possibly been driving everyone crazy with the music selections ... I checked a few days ago and found that the dj questionnaire was supposed to be submitted BY MAY 11TH. Eeeeeeek.

For our wedding song, I proposed "After All These Years," by Journey, among other songs, but no luck ... Ryan said I had to pick something less dramatic, lol. I think we've come to an agreement now :)

I searched online for songs to play at various points of the ceremony. One of the recommended songs: The Dance, by Garth Brooks. Um ... have any of these people actually listened to that song???

Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared beneath the stars above
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known you'd ever say goodbye
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance
Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I the king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say you know I might have changed it all
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance
Yes my life is better left to chance
I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance

Oh yeah ... that definitely says happy wedding day to me ... lol

So we are not going to play that song :P

I asked Ryan and his mother about the mother/son dance and whether they were going to do one. Ryan's mother suggested some songs:

1) Where Has the Time Gone, by Barry Manilow
2) I Will Always Love You
3) Beer for My Horses
4) Sometimes When We Touch ...

After that last one, Ryan's mother isn't allowed to pick songs anymore :)

I submitted the dj questionnaire today with a few TBD's noted on it. I sent it to 2 people and both were out of the office, but my mother assures me we will still have a dj. Phew :)

On to the next crisis, lol
