Remember when I said my pastor resigned on the very day I was going to ask him to marry Ryan and I? I was going to ask him at the end of the service and he announced his resignation (due to a promotion) at the beginning.
I thought that was kind of a bad omen. If I really believed in omens.
Today my friend told me her cousin's church burned to the ground two days before the wedding.
If that's not a bad omen, I don't know what is :P
(She says they are still happily married. At the first dance of their ceremony, held at a nearby hotel, guests lit their lighters, lol.)

ReplyDeleteBut I have to say, I don't believe in omens. I think the most telling 'omen' is how you respond to these omens as a couple! Obviously no one's going to laugh about a church burning down, but if you can keep your head and work through it and come to a solution without biting each other's heads off or getting into a big fight, that says more about your future marriage than any act of God, in my opinion!! :)
